Is it right to judge?

Given the number of suspensions and the loss of Reid, in addition to the short time Adams will have had with the players, is it right to judge him on today's performance?

Of course, you could say that any decent manager has to cope with such challenges, so it'll be a good measure either way.

No of course not! It will be a long time before anyone can make a fair judgment of him. He's picked up a squad ravaged by injury, suspension and loanees as of two days ago. He should not be judged until at least half way into next season.

Dont expect miracles, he needs time to sort this lot out.

The idiotic "Adams Out" thread seems to show just what a brilliant sub-set of supporters we offer the club. I was about to joke earlier when I saw this thread that some 'fans' wouldn't give Adams a minute before starting the criticism but turns out it wasn't a joke. Sure; at first blush I wasn't a fan of his hiring due to fears of his type of play but other people who've seen his teams support his ability to play good football so I'll give the man a decent chance before being critical... unlike others.

If he keeps us up this season that's job done for me. Let's see what he can do with a full pre-season and his own players.

Agreed, and of course all reasonable, well balanced people without personality disorders would agree with you. All Blades I have spoken to in the last couple of days are fully behind Adams, and are supporting him.

Nail on the head puppet, it was meant as a joke. And for the record, I'll be giving him a lot longer before I judge him. The next few months are all about getting behind him and the team and getting back in the top half of the table where we belong.
