Is it for definite that the Villa v Blades will not be played next midweek?

Weeks ago I had booked two days off work anticipating that the above fixture would be played on either 17th or 18th March

You would think that more than 1 weeks notice would be given, so I can't see it being next week.

But who knows, could be behind closed doors and they don't really need to worry about giving fans notice.

Will probably be tagged onto near end of season

They won’t want to play until John McGinn is back. The league should decide.

If Man City v Arsenal was due to be played today, is there any reason why our match against Villa couldn't also have been scheduled for today?

They said that arsenal v City had to be at such short notice because with European competiton at the moment they both only had 2 mid weeks left free

It'll be played behind closed doors some time in April the way we're going! Players will be wearing face masks and it'll not be on TV because of the risk of people congregating in pubs; if we're lucky we'll get Radio Sheffield coverage, assuming Keith Edwards and Andy Giddings have passed a pre-match cornoavirus test.
