And put the final nail in the coffin of our autos hopes, allowing our players to get over the disappointment and prepare for the play offs.

OR

Win and keep autos hopes alive? Even though it is still a slim chance even if we win.

I'm hoping for a win still, pressure can do crazy things at this point of the season.

The final nail was in the coffin when the weak minded soft lads turned over and let their bellies get tickled by Plymouth 😂 kidding yourself if you think otherwise.

We should now be resting a few who need it. But we can't afford to lose all the 'momentum' we could build so you don't want to play 11 kids.

No, let's beat the twats.
Nothing to lose so let's get some bloody forward intent into our play and give a it a right go.
Fold like a set of farts tonight and Wilder can go.
No excuses!

utb
That should be the attitude of players and coaching. However.....don't see it. I'm dying to be wrong but another pass it around, let them get set and then give it away performance I'm afraid. Please, please may I be wrong.

Probably. Rest up for the playoffs as autos are long gone.

You can’t drop nine points in a week and expect good things to happen.

Leeds currently showing the division how to get promoted (5-0 up at half time to Stoke at time of writing).

See what happens at turf Moor tonight, weeds almost certainly up, if we win who knows ?

No, but if anyone is 80% fit or carrying a knock from Friday etc. they don’t play.

No need to risk anyone to go for a win. Just try and score a goal at least, that’d be something

Not better to lose as that could ruin the confidence the players got after beating Cardiff.

Even if we miss out on Autos, I want to get as many points as possible (95 if we can), try and finish the regular season on a high.

But it wouldn't be the worst thing if we did lose, Burnley and Leeds have both been better than us this season and there's no shame in finishing 3rd behind them.

We can't finish lower than 3rd which is still a good season (given what it was like 12 months ago) but it will feel a little deflating given how close we got to automatic promotion so late in the season.

Hopefully we can enjoy the last 3 games, especially Stoke and Blackburn if we lose tonight.

Going to enjoy watching the championship relegation zone in these last few games as well.

No, compete nonsense.

Win tonight, and then on Friday and we are second (albeit having played a game more)

Put the pressure on Burnley to get something at QPR and home to Millwall. Make them earn promotion rather than meekly surrendering it.

Not one person predicted we would lose 3 in a week - football is a funny old game. You never know.

Ran a kids football team many years ago, final league game of season was beaten 5-1 to top spot by local rivals

Gathered kids on touch line, some teary eyed and made them watch celebrations and said “we’re in cup final next Sunday, feel the difference between winning and losing, that’s your motivation for next Sunday”

Lost that one 4 fucking nill, waste of breath

Anyway Only good that can come from losing today is if Wlider gets himself and team on the pitch and says “this should have been us, don’t fuck it up a second time in play offs”

We are the 3d best team in league and therefore should fear no one

I'm old enough now to be magnanimous and feel like I should congratulate Leeds. But I just cant.

Fuck off Leeds. You odious bunch of c*nts.

How about we go out to win all our matches regardless? Even if by the end of game 46 it turns out not to be enough for Autos we then carry on winning all 3 matches in the Play Offs?

Winning is a good habit which will also give the team momentum and confidence and well, it can only do good can't it and certainly no harm whatsoever!

Having a winning mentality is the way to go and it should be the mentality of a team wanting to achieve promotion anyway so let's do it.

IT would make my season if we were to stich them up tonight and wipe the smiles off their and the pundits faces..

Not too worried about promotion this season anyway, I couldn't take another season like the last one. and staying in the Championship would give us three more Transfer windows to build the team that will stick there....👍👍👍

I’d certainly agree it’s better to be set for the play offs with a few games to go rather than coming into then on the back of last day heartbreak.

It also means we can manage Gus and Anel better with their yellow cards.

Neither set of fans will be quite so joyous next season when they are getting dry bummed again in the PL. I on the other hand, will enjoy hearing about their trials and tribulations next season and hearing a pin drop in their stadiums. Yes, I can do mean spirited.
