Out the blocks like ten Usain bolts, unbelievable atmosphere says the sky commentators , 75% possession , loads of chances, crowd getting fidgety and heard shouting shoot from 70 yards and gerrit in every time Duffy or Norwood touch the ball, then a peach from mcgoldrick lifts the roof and then unbelievably Uniteds midfield starts to get deeper and deeper allowing ipswich their first foothold in the game no real chances but the crowd start getting twitchy as they get a couple of corners and free kicks given away outside the box, gerrit out, hold the fuckin thing can be heard around the ground and then in the 80 th. Minute mcgoldrick catches em out on the break, bedlam ensues and normal service is resumed as billy comes on in the 88th,minute a scores a tap in in front of the kop, job done ,never in any doubt say fans after the game as the greasy chip butty anthem blasts out it is reported that it can be heard in pubs and clubs in Leeds and of course Doncaster, a warm red glow descends over the city over night with "this city is ours" blasting out, and who can argue.

Cant see anything but a Blades win - not bothered about the score.

Ipswich are one of the poorest teams to go out of this league in a long time.

We've been there and bounced back - I hope Ipswich do the same.

What the fuck is their chairman Marcus Evans up to?

UTB

Possession 73 - 27
Shots 35 - 2
Corners 19 - 1
Score 1 - 2

If we beat them, what score line will make you think - that’s it the dirties can’t catch us now?
For me it’s a margin of 4+ giving us a 15 GD advantage.

2 scenarios here. Don’t believe it’s possible we’ll lose however a draw is possible.

Best case: Think Hull City away.
We start fast and try to blow away Ipswich before half time. Second half Ipswich just go through the motions and it becomes a relaxing enjoyable match.

Worse case: Think Millwall at home.
The players feel the nerves and look tired, it’s 0-0 at half time.
Second half we up the tempo and have Ipswich pinned back, the goal is coming and we deservedly go 1-0 up.
It’s now all United going for the 2nd goal but their defence and goalie is inspired.
We’re 1-0 up, then do our old trick of time wasting and defending for the last 5 minutes.
We invite pressure and they equalise in injury time.

Personally think we’ll win 2 or 3-0, crowd 30,893 (biggest of the season).

I can't see past McGoldrick making some kind of mortal wound on the club that released him last summer. There's no way we aren't winning this.

They don't get hammered every week. It won't be a walk in the park. 2-0, but 0_0 ht.

High intensity start from us, we won't give them an inch, and will hopefully push on to get a solid 2-0 win at least.

4-0 up at half time.

Players have a few shots at half time to celebrate.

4-4 result, Martyn Waghorn and Paul Mariner with braces.
It’s Wark and them two Dutch lads that worry me.

Hopefully an early goal to settle the crowd and the team get roared on by the BL faithful.

Not entirely true. If Billy scores, he gets M.O.M regardless.

IF he plays...

Chris Wilder is torn between giving Billy Sharp more time to recover from a injury or granting his captain's wish by selecting him for a match which could effectively seal Sheffield United's return to the Premier League.

Supermarket delivery last night substituted a new 'Cadburys Premier League Chocolate desserts' for the 'Cadburys Flake desserts' that I'd ordered. Not sure whether it's a sign or whether Sainsburys are mocking me.

Irrespective of what we do, I don't see Leeds getting the minimum of 4 points that they will need in order to overhaul us. They are not a free-scoring team, so they will not overturn the goal difference.
