Really hope we're not repeating mistakes that have been made time and again by not investing properly in the team.
Given the increase in income over the summer it's hard to grasp why there has been so little investment in quality and instead a harvesting of mainly lower league players.
Hopefully we're not seeing signs of Wilder struggling with coming to terms with managing at a significantly higher level than before.
Acquiring players used to playing at a lower level or who have previously struggled at Championship level runs the risk of those players ultimately finding their natural level with the obvious result.
We should be looking to nab the best from the lower leagues and even non-league, players who are potentially on the way up, but surely we need to balance that with some known quality from a higher level.
And ideally one or two who can run 100m in under 20 seconds.

You can't spend what you ain't got.

Co-op don't dole out cheap money no more... a certain club ruined that.

Income from being in the Championship is substantially up, then there's money from Walker and Maguire.
Not hard to see what the financial penalty would be if we were to go straight back down.
