Hate them, pampering to the new order... the “can’t play 2 games in a week” brigade. It’ll be the winter break next!

It gives some of us the chance to see the other England live, at The Oval. A nice weekend break in London, a few beers, some new pubs, a laugh and joke with other like minded people some of who will be fans of other football clubs. No need to rush back home to get up early the next morning for a three hour coach trip to wherever for the next match,(it’s never in London) just a relaxing day in the sunshine, drink in hand knowing that all’s well with the world.
Bring it on.

It’s the testimonial friendly tomorrow in meant Chippy.

Found it Gray ta for the info.

Chris Wilder has confirmed that he will take a full first-team squad to Sheffield FC for Matt Roney's testimonial fixture next month.

The Blades, Roney's boyhood club, will head across to the Coach and Horses ground at Dronfield on Tuesday 4th September, kick-off 7.30pm, to help celebrate his 13 years of service with Club.

A good friend of Wilder, Roney has made almost 500 appearances for Club, including featuring against Inter Milan at Bramall Lane in 2007.

Funds raised from the fixture will be donated to Matt and Macmillan Cancer Support, his chosen charity. Admission on the night is £8 adults and £4 concessions, special guests including well known former United players and celebrities could also take part in the fixture.
