I was just about to post something similar. Why not get something in a restaurant or pub? Even a burger van is a better choice (at least it's likely to be cooked by someone who has experience of cooking the thing they are selling).

Besides, if you all stop eating pies there'll be more room/people to serve us functioning alcoholics who like a beer on a Saturday afternoon ;)
Those pies stink terrible as well.

A burger from a van? I'd take a pie over a vanburger any day. Personally I'd go for a pork sandwich from the shop on the corner of John Street and Shoreham if I've got time.

Or a full English, lubricated by a few pints of golden nectar before entering the ground to gaze upon the hallowed turf!!

Not recently it's not mate. Would have completely agreed with you last season, different now like most things. :)
Yep totally agree. Some singing too on there now and from that end of the South stand as well. Last season it was shit being so near to the away fans but this season I'm enjoying it as they don't tend to have as much to sing about as us.

For the Bolton game I went on south stand about 8 rows from the front near the dugouts and the atmosphere in that bit was piss poor compared to the Westfield.

And the odd banter with away fans to boot. Closer to the action so to speak. :)

Think I may be one of them.

It's called the Bramall Lane Corner, not the Westfield.

People who eat pies at football matches should be thrown out.

Or if you're my elder brother, pies are meant to be thrown at crappy linesmen (as seen on TV) :)

'Posh seats' :D

Black tie only in the Westfield Corner!

Is there anyone left on here who doesn't sit in the select corner??

Well I must say I really enjoyed my experience of the Westfield corner today, the view is excellent, there was some good banter, they had carling instead of that carlsberg piss, they had a selection of pies for the lad at half time and we didn't spend all halftime in a queue, no pushing to get out and even getting a piss out was easy!! All in all quite pleasurable to be fair! I know where il be sitting at the games I can make next season anyway!

Agree it is a great view, but lacks in atmosphere..The Lane upper tier probably beats it,especially if you get more central. behind the goal.

The West is the preferred vantage point for me and my lad. Sit as far back as possible, near to any of the aisles and you can't go wrong view wise.

Incidentally did anyone else know what was kicking off in the concourse at half time? We walked through it on the way to the bogs and it appeared to involve 2 reyt classy looking lasses effing and blinding at each other in front of each other's kids and families before trying to tear lumps of each other.

The less charitable side of me can only assume it had something to do with pies.

The dallas cowboys have cheerleaders, unfortunately we live in Sheffield, so the halftime entertainment is slightly budgeted here!!!

Climbing Mount Everest is a doddle compared to the stairs you have to make your way up to get to the Westfield corner. I tried it last season, but it was the absence of oxygen tanks rather than the lack of pies that put me off.
