In the heart of Sheffield city, we'd walk down't Moor, talking Sheffield United, we'd step through that door.

Into the fisheries, we take our seat, for a fish and chip supper, the best you can eat.

Then on the to the Lane, through dark underpass, the bustling sound of Blades fans on mass.

We'd follow that stream of red and white, be me 13 or 30, no less a delight. For I love this club with all of my heart, I still tingle when the ref blows that whistle to start.

The voice of John Denver starts to sing, 30,000 fans soon following, with our anthem, our hymn, the whole city we fill, our senses the Blades never fail to thrill.

With crossed swords on Shields, United play football, "never say die" rings true after all. After years in the wilderness, the lows of league 1, it might be today, could today be the one?

COYRAWW!!!

Disclaimer: I know promotion can't be mathematically guaranteed today, but 3 points against Ipswich and it would take a disaster to stop it.

And this is where goal difference comes into it's own......should we win today, and should Leeds win tomorrow, there would be a three point difference, so onto the final game and you have to ask.....how many goals would Leeds need to score in their final game to overcome the Blades? If we win today Leeds are play-off certainties, that's as black and white as it gets.....should we win today ;)

Can't wait to hear this one break out on the kop, at 40second intervals!

Well said! I read that to Brian Blessed's voice in my head!
