16 of those players have less than 5 first team games between them.Horsfield and Gerrard were not exactly first team reguars before KB turned up.

So realistically,that is a net loss of 4 players.

In addtion,the out going fees for several players appear to be incorrect(Killa,Beattie,Hulse,Stead,Shelton and possibly some of the others.) and the incoming fees on seem wide of the mark as well (eg Taylor,Yeates)Whoops,sorry the poster on the other site knows the figures for a FACT so the must be true.

As someone mentioned,wages aren't mentioned along with the fact that we are no longer a premiership club,don't have parachute monies, and have reduced income in many areas because we are in the 2nd tier.

Yes but we got a good deal on the sell on clause.
Apparently Man City have to make up our loss on the low fee we accept when we sell him.

There seems to be some sort of curse in being relegated with United. In 1994 we went down with Swindon and Oldham, who have both spent most of the subsequent 16 years in the lower divisions and have never looked liked getting back to the PL.

Watford reached the playoffs in 2007-8, losing to Hull in the semis.

Yeates... Unknown?? No, he was quality for Colchester when they were in this league. Always impressed me. Saw him against us on opening day of season and again he looked good. Loves to have a pop at goal... Mind you Harper always impressed me but he kinda doesn't do it for us at the moment.

Evans... Yes he is good enough. Will be anyway. 20/21 years old. Already a full international. Just Wait and see!!

Henderson... Quality player. Holds it up well. Leading scorer. Very strong. Looks for the simple ball instead of forcing it. He would be in my first 2 players on the team sheet.

Wouldn't call it Assett stripping. We've obviously planned for the future by getting in money for players as the parahute payments have stopped.

Look what happened to Leeds, Southampton, Charlton, Wednesday. Maybe if they'd looked after their finances better like we have they wouldn't be so shit now!

Seeing as Palace have just been removed of 10 points and placed into administration carrying less debt then we are, one could take the view that, rather than being the beneficiaries of careful and prudent stewardship, we've actually been incredibly fucking lucky.

I mean, what is it? 43 million? 47? God help us if McCabe had really taken his eye off the ball.
