I was just making reference that i have notice more negativety on here since BU closed.

I think it's also worth noting that BU closed just before the season started so there was a lot less cause for negativity. Now the season has started there is more cause (apparently) for negativity. I also noticed the negative threads; I also noticed half of them were started by longer-term members here and not BU exiles.

PS - you should condition yourself to a negative post from Len after after bad result.

Ah the growing pains of moving from little backstreet forum to big time.

This place is fantastic, run for the love of the club and in the right manner. People should respect that. Differing opinions is the lifeblood of any forum but blaming one set of posters over another is missing the point somewhat in my opinion. Unfortunately when you see fans of the same team scrapping in the stands there is little hope of keeping this place the little utopia that it once was. You attract the hugely positive and the hugely negative and a fair few keyboard warriors along the way. A wind up merchant or two and a whole host of other baduns.

Someone once said a messageboard was like a pub in some ways. You don't agree with everyone in the pub but you can still sup a pint alongside em. So long as its not abusive or personal then surely its all fair game?

The way I try to look at is was that if somebody offered me 2 points out of last night and the derby game (derby county!) I'd have taken it , even though we were crap last night I'm still trying to take positives like with Hendos performance and work rate was better

There is indeed... if you go to your User CP ^ under the "Settings & Options" tab, there is a thing called your Ignore List.

Here, you can add certain posters so that you never have to read their posts... although why someone would come on a forum and only have the option of reading certain things, I don't know

I'd imagine it makes things very confusing though, when people start replying to their posts
