Ditto, mardy arsed sad fucks whingeing like stuck pigs as they left, too immature to deal with disappointment. Why fuckin go to the match eh??
Even at 1-1 they still left in droves. One of life's mysteries I'll never understand...
Yep. I don't get it with people who do this either, do they watch murder mysteries on TV then switch it off 10 minutes before the end before the murderer is revealed?

I can just about understand people leaving a couple of minutes before the end if you are three nil down but at one nil down leaving 5 minutes before normal time is up?? Bizarre.

I remember losing to arsenal teens in cup a few years back 6-0 and still sat there till the bitter end. If you've paid for 90 minutes why leave after 80?

I admit that I'm one of those who sometimes leaves early, but only if we're losing by more than one goal. Some strange part of me feels like I'm jinxing them. I'll also turn the commentary off if we're losing, in the hope that I'll lift the jinx and get a pleasant surprise when I hear the final result.

You'd think after some of the late shoes from us this season that people would learn their lesson!

I learnt my lesson long ago, we were 2-0 down with few mins left plus injury time, came back while I was walking to the car to win 3-2, never again.

Even if its nil nil and you only end up seeing a late 0-1 scored that send you home disappointed, it could be a quality moment, a goal like Gillingham's today...you pay to watch two teams so you gotta see it to the final whistle.

Cheers Johnny - the leaving early thing has happened during every match I've ever been to, tosspots.

An old bloke used to sit next to me in the South stand and always left a good 10 minutes before the end.
One Saturday he got this piece of paper out of his pocket listing the (small) handful of games he'd missed over something like 50 odd years of watching the Blades. The bloke behind me said "Aye, but he's never seen the end of a single game he's been to though!" :-D

I left early once and my entire family was killed by a herd of elephants on shoreham st
Never again

7 of our 13 league goals this season have been scored in the last 10 minutes. Love it.

Only time I have left early is when 3-0 down away at Lincoln in the FA Cup with about 15 mins to go - and they were a division below, at least.

Can't see the point leaving early when we are pummelling the opposition goal all game. In that game vs Lincoln we were barely out of our half.

I often wonder what wonderful exciting lives these people have where they have to leave early to beat the rush home.
I'm glad my life is dull and boring.

gets to me as well, I have a train to Donny at 17.10 and my little owd legs have to toddle all way down Shoreham Street to station and match never seems to finish while about 4.55 but i never go b4 final whistle, just don't get it.

If i miss that train that few minuted costs me about one and a half hours but id still sooner have that extra minute, after all I've waited for two weeks for an home match.

never ever leave till the whistle is blown , football can change in a second
living in spain I nearly kicked the telly when it weny 0-1 on 83 minutes , but I stayed with it , but to be fair it was raining heavy outside

Only time i've left a game early was in the 88th minute at the Millenium Stadium......couldn't bear to watch them Wolves gits celebrating any more than we had to endure from around the 80th minute.

I cant speak for everyone but when i was a regular at the lane i fucking loved beer
And couldnt last 45 mins without one

I left my seat but stayed at the corner of the Kop and South Stand, on the steps. This had me in prime position to stand on the railings and bellow like a bastard when Murph danced round their defence and slotted it! Very, very satisfying!! :D

Where in the world is better than BDTBL?
Where else would anyone want to be?
Why would anyone want to leave the place early no matter what the score is?
