really want united to seal promotion but can't get to Northampton, so wish they could do it on good Friday at vale where I've got a ticket

I agree with the sentiment of the OP, as I'd love to be there at the moment of confirmed promotion as well, but I'm overriding my own feelings and hoping for a win tomorrow to get the job done, then we can have a bit of a party at Vale to kick off the bank holiday weekend (which will hopefully end with securing the title) in style :)

Confucius say: Promotion most likely on the big screens

There's still the matter of the title to be decided after tomorrow, so you won't miss everything

Happy days indeed.

me too, been feeling awful about it :( however I'll have a few beers tomorrow to console myself when we win

I'm a bit selfish and will be there tomorrow and want us to do it !

Then again I'll be at the rest too ;)

Tomorrow
One job ticked off at a time

Tomorrow promotion ideally
The title to follow afterwards

Me too Raymond!

I don't want to celebrate promotion by beamback!

Like washing your feet with your socks on!

Leave it till the Vale match lads then I'll have me socks off.

Anybody who'd take even the slightest risk of the Bolton hoof-mongers catching us and stealing the title are just plain daft, let alone delaying promotion. Just imagine atmosphere at the Bradford game if we lost tomorrow's and then blew it at the Vale, and Bolton and Fleetwood won their 2 games.

This is United, have a word with yersens!

I'll tell you what I want...

I want to win today and secure promotion.
I want Billy to score today which means he'll almost certainly score a few more.
I want us to win at Vale and put in a masterclass of attacking football whilst I sit smugly in the Vale end watching my Bro in law and his mates twitch.
I want us to go into the Bradford game knowing a win will give us the title bar the shouting nomatter what Bolton do.
I want the MKD and Chessy games to be relaxed and full of good football, but with the extra incentive of that if we win both, we'll have accumulated 100 points and Chris will have beaten his lasts year's points total of 99. Apparently he was disappointed Northampton just missed out.

Does that make me selfish? ;)

I think you'll be fine there is far too much optimism with people thinking we will clinch promotion today trust me Fleetwood will easily win at Oldham today and we are due a defeat,
BTW - I haven't got a ticket for Northampton but I do have one for Port Vale. :)
