No he hasn't, he just stands out less at the minute because McAtee, Berge and Bogle are also flying.

He has gone off the boil. It could be connected or it could just be a drop in form. These happen, especially to younger players. He could probably use a rest as well. Playing through the world cup and all. Hard to expect a young player to keep up the type of form he was in at the end of last year.

Even off the boil he's an asset. Much of that is down to his workrate.

Double or treble marked every time he gets the ball, still manages to come out with it and invariably helps the team retain the ball with a sensible pass.

He’s not scored one where he’s taken the whole team on for a while though so maybe he’s shit now 🤔

He hasn’t gone off the boil at all. He’s still playing very well.

Illiman is easily the best defender we’ve got.
He could have half the ability and still get PL interest thanks to his pressing and ball winning ability, I've never seen anything like it. Complete f**king nightmare to play against. Add McB in there and there's very few in this league who will cope

N’Diaye is a very rare and special player. He has shown bags of flair, but that is only one part of his game.
George Best and Tony Currie had flair and vision, but none of the defensive bite that N’Daiaye offers.

Illiman is a complete footballer and a rarity in the modern game. This fact marks him out and puts a target on his back. The target grows with his reputation, skills, vision and assists. Like other, lesser players in the squad, he is happy to contribute goals and assists, plus other qualities that make him stand out.

Other payers love the fact he’s on our side, and his all round game is infectious. This contributes more than just playing style. He’s an important driver of the dressing room status too.

Things have been coming off a bit less for him as can kind of be visualised below:

This is probably part just opposition teams setting up to focus on him more as it's become clearer that he's our key man. For example while his dribbles and touches per game have been very constant, he's not been able to dribble into the penalty area quite as much very recently:

But as others have said, this has almost helped some others step-up in terms of finding space e.g. Berge at the weekend.

...and all this time he's been doing well defensively and his work rate is great. Even an 'average' game from Illi still makes him one of the more dangerous players in the league.

He's the Championship version of Jack Grealish (in his Villa days), but without the falling down or diving!
He's a target now because teams have seen how dangerous he is and the only way to slow him down (you can't stop him) is to mass mark him.

He is double and treble marked these days, but it's leaving more space for McAttee & Berge to exploit.
Exactly, he don't even have to touch the ball, he keeps getting into the right positions and nobody can afford not to mark him.
Also in his general play I believe he is not getting the 'bounce of the ball'. It happens and it will return, watch him go then.
Team in general, each player is always ready to pick up the baton to aid a team mate, long may this continue.☺️

Ilimans not gone off boil, teams are shit scared that he can literally pick the ball up anywhere and go on a run and either score or lay it on a plate for someone else to have a pop hence him being marked out. My other expert observation is there's a load of mardy fuckers itching to pile on anyone who's opinion strays from there own.

He's been marked up more. Teams know how much a threat he is.

But he got another assist on sat for first goal technically.

Might find him and Mcburnie starting causes teams to stop double marking him as much. Sharp has decent game sat which is a shame now he has rolled his ankle.

that DeBruyne is shit too hes not scored in ages and that Salah what a tosser hes a busted flush

for a team with so many under performing players our results havent half been too bad
some are making all the team with 3s to 7
its a wonder we are not near Huddersfield in the table according to some

His reputation has spread and teams are wary of him now with defenders doubling or tripling up on him. This can work to our advantage of course if it frees others up.

A huge talent and a great asset to us and I'm sure the best is yet to come!

I really need to learn how to succinctly get to the point in such a tactful , no explanation needed , forthright - assertive but not over the top manner 🫡

I'm still waiting for the phone call from SUTV believe it or not.
