Slightly silly question I know (wouldn't be my first ;) ), though the point is whilst things are enjoyable at the moment we all bemoan the fact that these players will need replacing at some point as time catches up with everyone.

(Of course we hope that they can be like Aduriz, Maldini Giggs etc and play into their late thirties and early forties that is the exception rather than the norm)

For me it has to be Duffy, wonderful player makes everything tick, its a mystery why he was in the lower leagues for so long such a shame.

Still, glad we were lucky enough to have these players like they are for any amount of time!

Why stop at 10 years? Lets bring back Currie, Deano, Agana, Hagan, Fatty, Shaw and the rest.

I'm assuming you mean that they keep their current skill and knowledge, just fitter and 10+ years of football in them. In which case, duffy is a no brained.

Hard to say because none of those would be the players they are now, if they were 10 years younger. It's not just about legs and stamina, it's about experience and intelligence. Each of those players has this in abundance.

Now 3-4 years and you might be talking. Imagine Duffy playing like he is now at say 27/28. He would be worth millions.

According to Wiki, if we has the Duffy of ten years ago, we'd have a southport player

Mark Duffy, with a yard more pace and the fitness to play 90 mins of every match, plus his current skill, would be a multi-capped England international every single day of the week. If he was the same player, but a bit quicker, and 22 years old, he'd be in the £40m+ bracket in my opinion.

Sharp for me
He's always been a goal scorer except for when Bryan Robson ruined him playing on the wing and then dropping him when he couldn't play on the wing and when Blackwells teams hoofed it over his head into the stand
Duffy wasn't the player he is now 10 years ago, some players develop later
But Sharp was prolific at 22 when played in his proper role
