If we sold our squad tomorrow

We’d be fucked, it’s outside the transfer window. Probably get a massive points deduction and fine, because the powers that be hate us. :D
But, atleast we would be joint top, level on points with Wendy!!

How much would everyone be worth? (Yes Im passing time over international break).

Moore £750K decent shot stopper but given that he can’t force his way into the side he’s unlikely to command a bigger fee.

Baldock £3M. Good all round full back.

JOC £5M. Very good centre half and in the air. Maybe worth more but his time with Brentford may perhaps count against him.

Stearman £2M. Dependable usually but can be turned inside out by real quality, like at Fulham.

Wright £500k. Useful deputy, deserves more pitch time.

Leonard £750K. Can’t really be worth much more at this stage, looks decent so far but can and will improve.

Fleck £5.5M. Very good centre midfielder, best at the club irrefutably.

Evans £2M. Been impressed with him so far, can improve like Leonard though. Perhaps too early to judge either definitively.

Coutts £4M. Very, very important to the club. Has a very important role and we have missed him massively. Fleck more valuable in my humble opinion. Again, like JOC his time elsewhere (PNE, Derby) may count against him.

Duffy £1.5M. Best attacking mid at the club but his age limits his value.

Stevens £1M Decent wing back but probably due an upgrade if we have serious promotion ambitions next season.

Holmes £600K. Not in Duffy’s class at the moment but useful asset.

Lundstram £750k. Very dependable back up centre mid and should be kept at the club. Underrated.

Lafferty £600K. Again like Lundstram useful as back up.

Clarke £3M. Good striker who has good streaks and bad streaks. Unlikely to cost more due to age and previous poor stints at other clubs limits his value. Notoriously a journeyman.

Sharp £2M. Similar to Clarke.

Donaldson £400K. Probably beginning to lose it a bit.

Ched-Free probably.

Brooks £8M. Shown great potential in first team appearances so far this season, value could soar with greater output but he is on the way to being incredibly valuable.

I know time passes slowly in Norfolk (and their football team reflects that) but oh dear! What a question! I couldn’t even begin to muster the strength to answer it. Can I just say £20 million job lot? And we’ll throw in the negotiation table from the boardroom (never used)?

All abart opinions.

But the only player on his level is Cairney.
We are talking about the top class, controller of the game midfielder. The player who makes a team tick, where everything goes through him.
And Coutts and Cairney are the best bar none.

Hourihane isn’t even top 5 for me. He can hit a ball, the rest is average.

Why is he not worth £3m ? Probably our most consistent player
Because £3M is a lot of money for a player whos's been consistent for less than a season in the Championship by the age of 25, of course if you're the manager of a Premier League side, i'd snap your hands off for you to take him for £3m as long as the fee is "undisclosed"

I nearly choked on that one too but managed to stumble on to Wright £500k.
I love Jake, but he's a journeyman defender the wrong side of 30 who has played all his games (a dozen this season apart) in non league and the lower leagues .

Please explain exactly who would pay the £500k, as I have a spare London bridge to sell.

I agree, they’ve missed a zero off. Jake is god.

I'm not sure you'd get any fee at all for Clarke, Wright, Lafferty, Stearman, Holmes. Definitely no fee for Donaldson. Even Duffy, Sharp, Basham and Coutts come with age and injury baggage which really depresses the market. That's not me saying they are bad players. But the market dictates the fee. All those players are worth a lot more to us than anyone else.

Our real saleable assets are Brooks, Fleck, JOC, Evans, Leonard, Lundstram, Moore, Baldock, Stevens, Freeman. That's where £££ would come from.

Ok, think of it this way, could you replace Baldock for 3m? Without it being to the detriment of the side?

Norfolk is Jeremy Tutton and is just trying to get the valuation up for Kev.

With the possible exceptions of Brooks (& of course C Evans), if you're able to secure any of these values, I would strongly suggest you're appointed as CEO immediately.

With the greatest will in the world and appreciating that you're only putting up your subjective opinion for discussion, I'm afraid your valuations are optimistic in the extreme, particularly for those players now in their 30s and/or whose contracts are expiring (Wright, Duffy, Clarke, Donaldson, Sharp etc.). As a general rule, I'd suggest most true values are around 30% of your suggestions e.g. £200k for Lafferty, £300k for Stevens, £700k for Evans (as just paid by Utd),

All a bit pointless, this. United - like a lot of teams in the Championship (Preston, Bolton, Millwall etc.) are a 'sum of the parts' team. Impossible to put a value on the likes of Brooks. We could sell him to Hull and Adkins would fuck him up.
Clarke £3M. Good striker who has good streaks and bad streaks. Unlikely to cost more due to age and previous poor stints at other clubs limits his value. Notoriously a journeyman.

Jordan Rhodes. Was a good striker who now has bad streaks and bad streaks. Unlikely to be shifted more due to stealing a wage and previous poor stint at Wednesday. Notoriously a journeyman. £10m FFS?

My view:

GKs
Moore: £500k max. We paid £250k plus add ons and he's not really improved since he's been here.
Eastwood: anything rising to £1m+ as a PL side would gamble a la Ramsdale
Long: £400k. Ignore the boo-boys: he's rebuilding his reputation in League One and would make a decent keeper anywhere other than the Lane

Defenders:
O'Connell: £5-£8m. Young, left-footed, solid. Has great potential.
Baldock: £3-£5m. Quick and skilful, even if he does need to work on his final ball
Stevens £1m. Not quite at the standards of earlier in the season but an international left back nonetheless
Basham: £500k. Jack of all trades...arguably master of none
Stearman: £500k. Age not on his side.
Heneghan: £100k. Complete guess.
Wright: free. Any side who'd want him is unlikely to have the funds to pay for him - still highly regarded by me
Lafferty: free. See Wright.
Freeman: £unknown. Depends on how he returns from injury.

Midfielders
Fleck: £7-£10m. Classy operator but with a question mark over aggression given the fervour with which he collects yellow cards
Coutts: £4-£7m. Makes us tick but how he comes back from this latest serious injury remains to be seen. Still think he'll make a cameo before the season's out.
Evans: £500k-£1m. Still settling in.
Duffy: £500k. Not worth selling for what other teams would pay for a 32-year-old journeyman
Lundstram: £500k. Potential is there but is the mobility?
Leonard: £400k. We'd make a loss as it stands; not sure why we chased him for so long?
Carruthers: £250k. Has the ability but not the application
Holmes: £200k. Would anyone pay for him?

Forwards
Brooks: £8-£15m. Depends on buyer
Clarke: £400k. 33 years old and one goal in his past 14 appearances
Sharp: £400k. 32 years old.
Donaldon: £free. 34 years old, out of contract in the summer and has scored in 3 of his 29 appearances (5 goals in total) this season
Evans: £free. Not shown any signs of regaining his form
