Who would you bring in?

I know he isn't going to be sacked, but supposing he did. What other options would we have.....?

I would personally go for Billy Davies, or Mike Newell. Both would be good signings in my opinion.

dalglish? Big Sam?

Anyone with no connection to middlesborough!

can't really see who we would attract that is good enough to be honest. Yeah Davies would be a great aquisition, but he's got bigger fish to fry (or at least he seems to think he has). Newell would be nice but can't help but think that he might not be able to turn the tide

Although, I've heard that that Mourinho fella is fairly decent.....:D

Davis or Cotterill

Cotterill is definately a good option in my opinion, the only thing I would be wary about is that..... I don't think he can take us that "one step" further that we want to go. I think he would get us to the PL, but I don't know if he could take us from there.

With Mike Newell though, he has a lot of forward thinking. Also, some of the players he signed whilst at Luton on a shoestring was nothing short of miraculous, whether this was because of backhanders I don't know. We could also do with a bit of sexism down at the lane :D

Paul Jewell and we missed the boat to get him.

Although true it may of been hard to pursuade him anyway.

Good question and there in lies the dilemma, who is there out there that would be the fans favourite? I cant think of anyone I would like at the moment that is available and we would have a realistic chance of getting.

If.......Robson had not come to the Lane

Who would have taken charge if Bryan Robson thought otherwise than to come to the Lane?

It's difficult not to think about these questions rather than concentrate on what's going to happen in the future.

Would we have had any of the signings we have now, including the loan players, would we have been doing any better with the team we had?

Or, would we be in the same situation calling for whoever we got in to go because that's the nature of the beast at Sheffield United when things are not going well?

I think, honestly it would be the latter

Is this Paul Jewell who, at the time we were looking for a new manager, was taking a spot of gardening leave thanks to the stress he'd been subjected to at Wigan?

Do you really think the "supportive" crowd at Bramall Lane would've been the best for all-round mental health?

I wouldn't want Jewell as manager. We wouldn't see any good football under him would we:p
