someone with some balls or a man as Paul Lambert puts it.
I think it's about time for a new manager. Lets get one in so he can exploit the JTW with the Prince's game changing investment, Why wait until the summer.

If we only sign 1 more player in this JTW we will certainly be fighting a relegation battle for the rest of the season and quite possibly be relegated !!! ( unless it happens to be Louis Suarez )

We need about 5 consistent 3rd div players to finish in mid table safety and then a massive clearout in May
UTB & FTP

For left back Bakayogo is well out of favour at Leicester and if people recall he was one of Tranmere's top performers last season. Would be a nice shout albeit probably only a loan deal

Winger, striker and central midfield is priority and that's just for starters!

need a full back a midfield player of the attacking mode and a striker who can actually strike, and possibly a centre back, so oust another couple, and get 3/4 in

A proven goalscorer...with pace and athleticism.....who can also operate in midfield.....and fill in at full back, centre half and in goal.

Depends on the signing. If it's the new Paul Richardson the position will be head in hands, rocking back and forth gently. If, however, it's the new Brian Deane then the position is arms aloft running around like a headless chicken.

1st choice: Striker with pace to play Porter's role with Porter as cover.
2nd choise: Midfield playmaker to play alongside Doyle ( surely Coady could play it though and maybe Cuvelier would also be better than McGinn).
3rd choice: Winger with pace.

I'm happy with Hill and Kennedy as full backs but I'd be much happier playing three at the back in a 3-5-2. We already have the players to man a 5 man midfield with 2 up front and we could play Baxter in a better suited "No 10 role". Pie in the sky of course.

Before the window we were told that we'd be making signings on a 2 in 1 out basis so we should be looking to bring another 4 players this window. What I don't want us to sign, and I fear we will, are a bunch of players who will give us options of something different from off the bench. We need to improve the first team if we want to stay up this season and let some of the current first team make up the options and benchwarmers.. I view Paynter as an improvement on Porter so that's one down and you could perm any 4 from the other 10 for me. None of the current team are performing consistently well or have shown they have the stomach for a relegation battle.
