Blackpool actually lost in a play off!? They're the opposite of us, think they've gone up more times in the play off than anyone else! I think we can with away but it's gonna be tough, well have to play much better than today but forests counter tactics were perfect for today, we still gifted them both goals too.

Obviously want us to go up and do well BUT, can you imagine that defence and ageing midfield in the Premier League? It would need a minimum of £100 million on players just to keep us up. Whether we go up or stay in the same league, a huge overhaul of players is required. Norwood, Fleck, Stevens, Osborne, Baldock and maybe six others are past their sell by date. Thanks for past efforts and all that but we need a fresh start, pace and new direction. It’s the dying embers of Wilder’s team. Seeing new blood in the side keeps the fans interested. Seriously, if it’s Fleck and Norwood in midfield the first game of next season, fuck me. If they get any slower they will go back in time.

This is the conundrum. I have to fight all my instincts that want us to win games to say that if, by some miracle, we overcome Nottingham Forest and then win at Wembley then - despite how many players we may sign - next season will be horrific. Worse even than the last one.

Despite the fact that, in the end, thanks to a lot of hard work and MGW we've had a decent season, this summer needs to see a major overhaul and we'll have to hope that when all the pieces fall back down to earth we've got a workable squad out of it.

This reminds me of when our band were looking for a contract.

I thought our lead singer and guitarist had secured a contract, when in reality she'd just found out they'd had sex, and couldn't wait to share the gossip.
