Wilder has brought people into the starting eleven when he has needed to. We maybe don`t always agree with the changes he has made but he rarely calls it wrong. He has had a few transfer windows since taking over and rather than just building a team ......He has built a squad. What a forward thinking piece of foresight.

Well done Chris Wilder and well done to the players who have stuck with it and shown their desire.

Being in the Premier League would be tough, but I fail to accept that we couldn't compete with Bournemouth, Brighton, Watford, Southampton, Palace, Burnley, a constantly out of sorts Newcastle, and the two clubs that would come up with us

This is a concern for some Blades fans and as much as I don't rate that Mike bloke on RS I thought he made a good point tonight....

He said that there are a few really strong teams at the top end of the Prem - then a load more who are distinctly average. He's absolutely right about that imo.

I wouldn't fancy our chances of coming away with much from the likes of Man City or Liverpool, or Spurs or Chelsea, or maybe even Man United in their current form, or Arsenal.

But beyond that? Would I be concerned that we'd get spanked every week? With the heart and spirit that this Blades team show - and the unconventional way Wilder sets them up to play, like no other team in the country, would we really be getting a spanking every other week? I really doubt it.

If you don't dare to try though, you'll never know.

And if you're one of those fans who think it's best not to get promoted to the Premiership then...

go and support one of the other local clubs.
