With Eric Dier last night heading in to the stands to confront some shandy drinking southerner, which blades player past or present would make you shit a brick and run to the exits

Now being a blade that claps until they switch off the lights and stopped to watch the lap of shame this is purely hypothetical.

But for me Morgs or Horsfield

Of all time, my top 3:

Billy Whitehurst
Chris Morgan
George Santos

Of the current crop I would try and find a peaceful resolution, rather than getting into fisticuffs with:

Jack O'Connell
John Egan
McBurnie

Realistically, I think the vast majority of us who shout stuff at matches would cack ourselves a bit if confronted by the person we were shouting at, even if it was someone like Louis Reed or Stefan Scougall.

Most fans are guilty of shouting 'That was fucking wank' or 'Thas bin shite today [insert name here]'. I can say with 100% certainty that I am. But can you imagine if the player you were gobbing at actually came up to your face and questioned you on the things you were shouting?

People go on about the protection of anonymity on social media, meaning people get brave and say shit they'd never say to someone's face, but the same is massively true for crowds as well. If the match was on and the other 30,000 fans weren't drowning out your insults, would you say half the things you usually say at a match? Even if it was pretty likely that McBurnie or Lundstrum might 'do a Dier' and come up to have a word about why you think it's acceptable to call them a useless wanker whilst at work?

Obviously I know this is different from what happened last night. Sounds like some brainless turds were having a pop at Dier's brother so he waded in. Just found it an interesting thing to think about.

I think once a season, the players should be allowed to single out a supporter who’s been gobbing off all season, get him out on the pitch and say ‘go on then, say your shit now’ and they’re allowed to chin them.

morgs is the answer, but then nobody stupid enough to provoke him

that spurs fan was an embarrassment to fans, to abuse someone but expect nothing back is idiotcy & wouldn't surprise me if he is a internet troll as well. but then run away. what a coward

Mike Trusson (just because he hasn't been mentioned yet), The Stir ran a week long campaign saying he'd be matched up against a street fighter when we played a non league team in the cup, it worked. Half way through the first half Trusson knocked him out and got sent off, we lost.
