Wouldn't have met my Gurt at the Lane Social Club Beer Keller in 1972.........

Shit, what a price to pay

...would spend more time chasing women. That way, I wouldn't have the stress, disappointment, financial hardship, excessive alcohol consumption or the feeling of perennial let-down.:D

"Would never have been to Wembley, let alone London!"

"Would never have got to sit on the piggys kop in 2001 and jump, shout and cheer as Asaba scored the winner as we beat the dirty scum bags 2-1!"

"Would never have got to feel what it's like to think the glass is always half empty!"

But most of all "Would have a massive part of my life missing!"

I was also sat with the unclean when Asaba scored. ASAABA ....ASAABA.....ASAABA

Daft question really!

In the 1950s, down in Darnall, when I first went to school, in the playground you quickly had to answer the question - "Red or Blue?"

If the Blades didn't exist, that question wouldn't have ever been asked, i.e. you'd simply support the local club (not like today).

Worst part of this question is thinking that IF the other lot didn't exist, then neither would the Blades (check history).

I would never have overheard the conversation about certain sexual acts, that so enlightened me on my first solo trip on the football special train to Crewe in May 82.

By Uttoxeter I realised that my innocent youth was now over and that there may just be more to life than Keith Edwards and Colin Morris.......

Would probably support W**nesday ... IF the blades had never existed.

IF we somehow folded now I would have to support Sheffield FC or sumat

You obviously haven't had much experiance of the ladies based on your comments!

My life would have been much poorer as I would have missed out on meeting the many amazing people that have been brought into my life by the one common bond we share.

Why, thank you, that rainy night in Crewe obviously meant a lot to you.....

By Uttoxeter I realised that my innocent youth was now over..

Uttoxeter gets a lot of people that way, mainly 14 year old unmarried mothers :-)

When I read the first part of your first sentence, I thought you were talking about Darren. :)

Ha Ha....thought you might have been on here long enough to understand.

I'll not explain.

:)

There would be a lot of people on whatever forum this would be otherwise with just a first or second name under their avatar which would also look very different.

I would probably just watch F1.

Never been tempted to watch that lot over at the rusty swamp.

....I would have led a completely different life. I would never have known the joys of promotion and the heartache of relegation. I would never have visited such places as Halifax, Preston, Stockport and Rotherham .....I would never have had the thrill of cheering three goals at Wembley or the despair of a defeat on a Saturday afternoon.
What else is there to do on a Saturday afternoon?
