If Sharp leaves, apparently the sky will fall in!

Or was that chicken lickin?

Lots saying he could join Celtic I wasn’t aware they even showed any interest also a few saying the MLS but what about the A-League in Australia it’s got some half decent players in it like Ritchie De Leat I’m not saying he’s world class but wasn’t he a regular starter for Leicester a few seasons ago

Didn’t realise that was a loan move to Melbourne city he now plays for Royal Antwerp all though he’s a defender scored 7 times in 25 games haha

He's a long-term project now. How many games he plays is quite irrelevant, it's what he does Monday to Friday at Shirecliffe now that will determine his future not the possible last 40 games of his career.

Thats down to him proving his worth to Wilder.
And what if proving that worth is misguided, pointless and frankly, a total waste of time ???

it happens 😉.

Just me then (not for the first time).

Give it a rest.

You are in danger of straying into Pinchy WUM territory.

Traffic cone joke anyone?

What if it's not?

Bash says he's an important influence off the pitch which carries far more weight than owt you'd type.

Billy is fully aware of his role. He hasn't got pace which is a huge issue in the prem. But he is the club captain which is massive for him especially in the prem. He is part of the match day squad and regularly comes on in games. We don't do the cut back crosses from the by-line anymore to a fox in the box which is his office. But he knows his value in the club which is immense and why Chris Wilder wants him to stay.

We never hear about Billy's influence on the team on the training field or in the dressing room. My guess is that it's immense. He instils confidence in the rest of the players and he instils confidence on the Kop. Whenever he comes on it feels as though he is going to score. I love Billy.

Given that none of the new lads up front seem capable of a full 90 minute stint during the first half of the season, the lack of minutes alongside his optimal strike partner, who is McGoldrick, is as surprising as it is staggering.

ignore the media rhetoric. Wilder is forcing Sharp in to a heart wrenching decision that given his service to the club, is completely unjustified. On top of which. I have absolutely zero doubt based on what dem 👀tell me that minutes on the pitch would have yielded more goals and thus in all probability more points. We will never know for sure of course, and THATS the galling bit !!!!
