Sorry if this is in the wrong place but our fans 99% of the time have been outstanding this season, we're all aware of the very small minority of idiots but today topped that. Whoever threw the firework/banger/firecracker that exploded in the face of my friends autistic child today wants locking up. What is the thought process of taking such items into a stadium, there will be physical scars (very close to his eyes) and I'm sure he'll get over that but getting over the mental scars for an autistic child after such an incident is questionable, he moved seats and got the medical attention required but overall ashamed today of being associated (by supporting the same club only!) with the idiot(s) today. I hope he continues to attend games but would understand his parents not wanting him to attend again.

Very disturbing news that. I'm sure someone on here will know who throw said object and at least have a sensible word in their ear.

Poor little lad, hope he is ok and that this doesn't put him off going to games. Whoever was responsible for this needs a slap quite frankly. Completely irresponsible and downright dangerous.

Very idiotic actions. I have a child with autism, and can assure you something like that can be very regressive. Hope the mindless wan***s involved happen upon a very disturbing situation,,, the repercussions towards a person with this disability could be immense. Hope the young blade involved is OK, but the disturbance may only be acknowledged months on from now and may cause the patents/carers he'll. Keep up the good work you useless good for nothing's. Hope you are proud of your colours.... COCKS. UTB. As always.

hope hes okay and not scarred (both physically and mentally) for life and hope they catch the wanker who did it

Very sad to here this, hopefully most blades would disapprove, I hope the young guy makes a full recovery.

Bad guys only succeed when good guys fail to dob them in etc etc ......

I 've been away with the blades on many occasions. I have to say that I did not enjoy today due to the inconsiderate oafish behaviour of more than a few blades today. People old enough to know better. There was an old lady on the front row who continually had her view blocked by inconsiderate fans standing in walk ways. I felt sorry for the stewards (except for one who was a twat). I know you are never gonna stop bad behaviour, I was also close to the flare and the firecracker. But there were people there who were just going to do whatever they wanted and screw other fans around them. I suppose that makes them bigger blades than me.

Sad news dronny_blade hope the kid is ok. Moronic idiots taking fireworks anywhere near football grounds. No need for it and its clearly not a bit of harmless fun that they think it is.

Its getting to the point where we need family sections of away ends, which is ridiculous. After the odd beer you might eff and jeff a bit more, but to throw something like that you must have a screw loose.
Just like to echo what every sane minded blade is saying and wish a quick recovery and arrest

Get in touch with John Garrett at the club, he'll sort something out that hopefully will make the young un forget about it. My daughter had similar at the Forest cup game, firework thrown from the back of the kop hit me and exploded at her feet. It scared her so much we had to leave so missed the last bit. John sorted out a visit to the training ground to meet Cloughy and all the players who were fantastic with her. She still gets worried some times that it'll happen again, but thankfully still usually enjoys going.

Hope he gets over it.
