Had a little spat with him the other night on that copa90 Sheffield derby vid. He was spouting his usual shit Wednesday still bigger etc and had won more derbies so i set him straight on that with a few facts. He swiftly deleted my comment and removed his before anyone else saw them lol. The bloke is absolutely relentless on youtube, he's bloody everywhere. Complete pillock.

They aren't the 'oldest'.

They were established in 1867 as a cricket club. They then became 'The Wednesday', who just happened to play in Sheffield, and at BDTBL, by the way. When they were hoyed out they eventually ended up at Owlerton, several miles outside Sheffield's city boundaries back then.

Sheffield United were formed in 1889 and have played at BDTBL ever since. In Sheffield.

The Wednesday didn't put 'Sheffield' before their name for another forty-odd years, so technically were not associated with the city until 1929
