Don't really get why anyone thought we wouldn't be average, at least for some part of the season. Hopefully Slav can turn it around but we were fucking dogshit last season, average is a step up.

Very early days and the lack of a pre-season certainly has not been kind to SJ. To be fair to him there is a lot to change in the mentality and confidence of the squad as well as new systems etc. You badly need some signings even if it is just for fresh energy and personalities around the place as well as giving the existing squad some belief that things may change.

With Davies, Vieira and whoever else coming in hopefully it will give things a boost. Maybe Slav has figured out we're best off with players like Burke nowhere near the starting lineup too.

Looking back at that I think some of the players are still transitioning from the CW way to the SJ way. But positives were we looked better in 2nd half and perhaps could have had all three points if we'd taken those chances (Mcgoldrick) especially.

EDIT: definite improvement from Birmingham game though.

This is Deja Vu all over again. Two games in and no goals. Slav has to do some cutting I think, McGoldrick hasn't got it. Dont know waht to do with the rest, McB, Burke and Brewster,. God help us.

5hrs down and 5hrs back, I thought it was a good game. To bring a point back from Swansea is acceptable. When the 2 or 3 new players come into the frame the performance will get much better .Let’s see what the league table looks like after 10 games
