I want to see attacking football with 2 strikers up front.
This style is too negative and we should be attacking teams especially at home.
Play 4-4-2 with Done and McNulty or Adams up front and leave Baxter out and this No.10 nonsense,Murph on left,JCR on the right.
Play Turner in goal,he was impressive against Swindon, and attack attack attack

Yes and I want to see it tonight.

Please don't let us have the usual turgid first half with no goals.

Ben Davies has come up with the solution in his recent interview, get 1 or 2 early goals.

I hope he's mentioned that to Clough.

I too would like to see more attacking football, but can we please get over the myth that you can't play attacking football with one up front and that 4-4-2 is the only option? The formation doesn't make a difference, it's all about the tactics.

433 and get it in the box early.

With our midgets that will mean mainly on the deck and in behind their back four to turn them we us in glorious full flight FACING the goal.

Come on Nige I know you hang on my every word and you know it makes sense to batter them.

Very few teams in today's football play 4-4-2 with out and out wingers on both sides, as it leaves you too open.

Clough tried it a couple of times during the game on Saturday, but they ran straight through us and he had to change it back.

We generally play the same formation throughout. We generally struggle in the first half and are much better in the 2nd half.

You are right, it's about attacking intent and not formations.

Don't know how serious that is but do we need more than a back three against a Colchester side in the bottom four of the third division when we are at home.
A 3-2-4-1 formation with wing backs? No I wasn't serious. I would set up like this on pro evo however.

I would like to have seen him try McNulty and Done together for the last 15 minutes.

'No 10 nonsense'? Baxter played there, his best postion, and was class. We have many players who can play there so why not do it. It's by no means nonsense, it's a key postion in modern football and all the best sides use them. It gives a link between midfield and attack.

Said for a while 4-4-2 isn't the answer. We don't have the players and get overran. 5 in midfield is best it's just key we get midfielders running forward and past the striker like last year where Coady and Scougall did and the wingers got further up more often.
