We've been heavily linked with all of the above and more and yet we've not seen anything materialise!

If we confirm Evans, Lita & Gray i'm a lot happier than i am now.

16 days till kick off. No keeper. No realistic improvements to the squad & we still don't know wtf is going on with Kyle & Kyle.... Please lads (as much as it hurts me to say it but..) just piss off if you are going so we can purchase some sort of replacement!

The only confirmation of anything concrete (no pun intended) is the extention of the ground which we can't even fill now! Sod that, buy some players, get us promoted and then extend the ground for gods sake!

Back when football was football, and men wore proper head attire. You heard about transfers when they were completed and the pic appeared on the back of The Star, new player holding up scarf with the manager.

Now people find it very difficult to separate gossip, lies and hearsay from real news, in fact some can't even separate the virtual from the real (I have actually read the comment...'we should sign X because he's awesome on CM 09' ). The amount of information avenues available and the need to fill them with something has created mountains and mountains of tidbits that quickly get sent to millions. Pure fabrication can easily become definite information (My second cousin's dog-walker's newspaper boys step-brother works at the Lane.......). Our very own Robbie created a little piece like this with his infamous 'Walcott on loan' ruse.

Supporters have little or no idea what is really happening, but the speculation never stops. Transfer are getting more and more complicated, with more people involved and more clauses, caveats and the like constantly added. Clubs are getting more and more wary about statements and announcements that they make, as the complicated transfer negotiations can stall right up to the last minute. Meanwhile, supporters demand more and more information, instantly. Only way to deal with it, is to take all the speculation with a very large pinch and only believe when the official announcement is made!
