I reckon Berge could do a job in the Egan role

He could go on some mad runs like Maguire used to, im sure wilder can adapt the team to account for all three defenders bombing forward at different times

Any thoughts? Not saying he should take egans place but its just a thought

Directly at fault for the second. What the fuck is he doing stood on the edge of the box?

Berge just needs this first half year to adapt. He's gonna be amazing in midfield, so just teach him that role. No need to let him play CB, where he's uncomfortable so gonna make mistakes, in a season where it looks like European Football is only possible through the cup.

Berge is shocking his positioning is terrible he's always 5 yards behind play .I haven't seen him make 1 tackle or interception. The game just passes him by ....

Well he got the Norwood roll a lot on here wanted to see him play second half and he was still shit.

Berge just looks absolutely terrible in every department. Heading, passing, tackling, energy, movement off the ball

Looks a disaster of a signing.

I honestly cannot see anything what resembles a footballer in him. I hope Iam wrong and he shoves my words down my throat but he could turn out to be most expensive failure we've ever had!!

I thought Berge showed some encouraging signs when he came on. We were all chasing shadows.

I'd start him over Norwood next match. Norwood's been dire since the break.

Apparently he’s a defensive mid. I didn’t see him make a challenge tonight. Jogged slowly towards an opponent with the ball a few times making sure that he was slow enough for them to pass before he needed to actually tackle.
Woeful.

Why not play Norwood on the rightside of the 3 and ecourage him to get forward. He does possess creativity and good crossing ability so try it?

Back to the OP, the answer's no. Any ball played in behind where he needs to turn and he's toast. Paceless.
