He looked very nervous to start with but is getting better every game, I actually prefer him over Ramsdale. He can catch a ball and doesn't dive in instalments.

I'm shocked at how good he's transpired to be, but his first 2/3 games warranted criticism.

He's so assured in everything be does. His judgement and timing on crosses is excellent. Never misses one, never flaps. Ramsdale was miles off him in this regard.

Seems like he's always in the right place for every shot. I've never seen a keeper comfortably hold everything like he seems to do.
 
Every time I see him in our goal I always smile

He looks like they've invited someone out of the Kop to play in goal.
Keepers these days are all 6 foot 5 and bulky with plenty of weight.

League 1 Wes must be barely 6 foot and he's so slight build wise.
Based on his size he shouldn't be as good as he is.
 
I have always loved being behind the goal to watch great goalkeeping saves. At 90 minutes this evening I was wishing I had been in the BLUT. When Ben Davies was about to shoot in the 92nd minute, I changed my mind. Being behind the goal on the Kop at that moment alone was worth what the season ticket cost. Sorry, Wes, but I think you’ll understand- you did race the length of the pitch to join in the fun!
 
Henderson was immense for us over both seasons, but I was always still a bit worried that another error was around the corner. Wes just oozes calmness, composure and assurance and you can see that it rubs off on the back three. I prefer Wes to Henderson because of this and it's the most confident I've felt about a keeper since Paddy's first season with us.
 
Oh Wes .is a great defender
He keeps clean sheets all the time
He seems to me he's the best in the league
He won't ever let us down
We will go up while he is around
