The humiliation every week, is pathetic! I watched us Blades since 1970 and i don't get this 'lets give up attitude'. But something has to change, thoughts lads and lasses and others?

I love being in the PL but it breaks your heart to see us being totally outplayed every week

Were performing like the worst team in the division at the minute - and shock were one of the worst 4 teams in the league and have an incredible injury list. We are probably the least equipped squad to suffer injuries on top of that.

I understand Luton and Burnley are not much better from a sqaud perspective but at least they look fit and capable of running to cover positions.

On top of this all our owner is skint.

Suck it up - no one gave us a divine right to survive and if we suffer relegation a championship side will end up in the championship .... no shock.

Its a choice to go on a saturday ............

It depends what you mean, we've definitely been in worse situations regarding standing in the game, our setup and medium term future. In terms of week to week football, I can't remember a period when I've expected to lose just about every game in the season. There's no fun in this, whatsoever.

But I always accepted this season was a financial transaction. I just doesn't expect us to be so shite / uncompetitive.

I told myself when we got promoted that I wouldn’t get downhearted, as I knew we weren’t up to the job. But it’s one thing saying that, but another sitting watching it. It’s Sheffield United, it’s not enjoyable watching us lose, whether you expect to or not.

And I have to be honest, I didn’t think we would look THIS out of place - as has been mentioned, we look like League One or Two side playing in the cup against top flight opponents.

But i remember Port Vale at home under Heath.
I remember Southend at home under Wilder.
I remember losing 4-0 to Stevenage.
I remember not being able to beat Yeovil over 2 legs in the Play Offs.
I remember the whole of the Atkins season.
I remember the couple of months under David Weir.


Sitting bottom of the PL... the 20th best team in the country, is nowhere near as pathetic as it has been in my 30-odd years of watching us

I know it was before your time but I remember losing 3-0 to non league Altringham and being totally outclassed by them.
Now that was embarrassing.
This season doesn't even begin to compare with some of the absolute dross we've had to endure over the years.

City n Spurs no one expected more than a parked bus damage limitation but let’s be honest on another day they would have both been out of site of us
Almost 200 attempts on our goal in 8 games says not very good

Most people were unhappy our owner let it get to such a critical situation. I think everyone was shocked just how tight the purse strings have been this summer.

I suspect, due to your location, you no longer have to sit there week after week, witnessing it.

I'd be more than happy competing, winning and drawing the odd one, and getting relegated with "28" points.

Right now, it feels nowhere near that. We look nothing like a side promoted with 12 points to spare (or whatever it was). We look like we're several divisions off what we should expect.

that stat alone tells you the wrong tactics are being used in games we have to pack midfield more to stop teams walking through us sounds boring i know but were not getting any type of a foothold in games and has to be done imo to have any chance of escaping relegation

But for some of us "losing a few games to teams thats cost a billion quid more than we can afford in by one goal in 4 " is horrific when it's week after week, without being remotely competitive, and you're throwing lots of hours and money at the experience.
