Whatever the source it doesn't mean we're saved! Nobody outside of Chelsea or Man City pours millions into sport without expecting a return and I don't know of any American ownership that's lived up to what the clubs fans were hoping for.

As a rule their (in fact any) businessmen get rich by hanging onto money and not giving it all away.

So do we get any hints about which rich Yank is interested?
 
And who's talking about ownership either. I thought McCabe was purely looking for investment?

i've heard the malaysian billionaire is back in for us now he has cleared his name all the mcabe family were at the game today and descussions are on going and he is having a meeting at the lane on wednesday.
 
Cool we going to down the same route as Wednesday of having everyone rumoured to be investing or taking over the club for the best part of 2 years before being saved from admin by being bought for a quid.

I can't see what the yanks would get out of a takeover of the Blades? Surely, the yanks being the yanks, are in it to make money. How would they make a big return on their investment by owning SUFC?
