Sat in Club Wembley after having a few on Wembley Way. Leather sofas in there all a bit surreal. Met Michael Brown, Brain Deane, Wayne Allsion, Dave Carney. Brownie said he would come back if we were in the prem, Carney is not staying at Norwich but doesn't know where he will be. The Chief says the 93 play off final is "burned into his memory" Quite a few names in there, Stewart Pearce watching the Kyles, and George Burley (haven't a clue what he was doing.

So all in all a very different way to watch football, but the atmosphere was down with the real fans

Then the "football" started...................................:mad::mad::thumbdown:

Yes, spotted Burley on Wembley Way.

Good day till the football, as ever. And while Wembley has a good view and facilities and all that - sitting in the half of the ground that had the sun full on it wasn't nice. Baking, dehydrated and watching the Blades get spanked yet again.

I've been telling everyone that next time I'm not getting a ticket. Go along for the beer and the craic beforehand, then get on the train home. Cheaper, and miss the disappointment. :(

He played for the Scotland B team so I don't see why he couldn't play for them.

Don't be daft, our UK cousins will sign a player if their great great grandmother once read about their country in a book!

Yeah, I had a great day until the day game started - why do we always choke in the big games?

A couple in our group were sat near Mr James Beattie - They told him they wished he playing and he said he wished he was too! (secretly must have been thanking god he was sold after that dire display)
