I’m not remotely nervous about getting in the play offs

Think we’ll cruise it in to the top 4 tbh. The teams very solid, consistent, hard to beat and has an immensity of footballing talent for this level.

Egan
Bogle
Basham
Norwood
MGW
N’Diaye
Sharp

A number of these are the very best in the league for their position.

More than that we seem to have a very switched on management team and the players seem happy, motivated and focused. Outside top two there’s not one team I’d be overly worried about playing at Wembley. Couldn’t care less about Middlesbrough

Love it- thats the spirit even if its only click bait

8th - 10th for me.. we will not have enough to break teams down and draw a fair amount of the remaining games.

I think we’ll get top 6. Away from home teams won’t sit back against us. Likes of Swansea, Forrest, Blackburn won’t sit back against us.

Boro will be similar to yesterday though. Fully expecting Wilder to come and shithouse a 1-0 win

Agree with the OP re: being hard to beat. We do seem to be banging out the clean sheets now, which for me is always a great starting point for any team. Earlier in the season last night would have been a defeat. We ain't going to win everyone until the end of the season but the old adage if you don't win make sure you don't lose.

I remember the Basset promotion season two 0-0s against the lowly Hull but still went up.

I wish we could forget McBurnie, bring back Mousse( lazy and unfit I know) and send McBurnie to Whitby Town
What's Whitby done to deserve that and especially Whitby Town FC,Whitby Town FC.png apart from the fact they play in blue?

Wouldn’t fancy playing Huddersfield or any of the other teams where we have not scored.
Given that we don’t score in the final and Peterborough probably won’t reach the play offs I will not be booking a hotel at the Spring Bank holiday (especially as it has moved to later in the week)

Name me one time we had a team in the play offs the were a level above the other teams.

2003 was a great season but they weren’t more talented than Wolves, they’d just generally done a bit better in the season and had a couple of cup runs but the players weren’t any more technically gifted than the wolves team.

2012 could have been if McDonald and Ched were available (but then we wouldn’t have even been in the play offs).

I’ve the strength of my convictions to back up what I’ve observed about this team and league. If we’d gone 3 at the back from the start of the season and not had a carcrash of a pre season we’d be challenging for automatic promotion right now. I think we have the 3rd best team in the league and a team that’s a level above the others challenging for the play off when it comes to the crunch.

This team is technically better than any we’ve had in the play offs before and I include the michael brown season.

Fancy Utd to win it, history means nothing. We lost in the past because we weren’t good enough, the ‘play offs is lottery’ copp out doesn’t wash, you would t call the euros or World Cup a lottery once it gets to the semi final stage.

Be better than the others and you win, this time we’ve the talent on our side

Have as much chance as most of finishing in the top six, McBurnie will play a big part in us finishing there, he's better than a lot on here reckon
