The majority of away numbers at the Lane have been piss poor this season, Villa being the only decent one.

Swansea is sort of understandable considering the distance, but Preston and Hull?

I'd go with the Hull fans being within 50 of the Shithouse Energy Beverage Trophy(tm) game in August.

There's always been a sizeable Leeds support in Hull,probably from the 70's,and Eggchasing is big...I worked there for about a year in the 90's,and i always got the impression the 2 sets of Rugby fans seemed to have a dislike of the Football Club aswell as each other.
Then there is the problems with the owners and the drop off of plastics who latched on during the period where they got a new stadium and prem football,but basically it's a Rugby town.

On the way to the game we were talking about what the crowd would be, 25/26k with around 1,500 from Hull and that was because they are having a bad time of it but 700/800? As things are it'll get worse.

They filled maybe 2 blocks of seats, one properly and then spread out over another 3. I wouldn't have said 950 but I'm shit at crowd estimates to be fair.

You’re right. There were 3 coaches at the end that I saw and there didn’t seem to be many at the train station so would doubt the 924 figure quoted!!.
