Due to unforeseen circumstances I regret that today's and all future editions of this series have been cancelled.

If I may thank my small band of readers, especially Judge and Silverfox - you made it all worthwhile.

The final word must go to Kevin Blackwell, whose unique brand of warmth and sincerity made this series a delight to be involved in. Blackie, you will never, ever be forgotten.

Mic, Your sentiment to lay Hugwatch to rest brought a tear to my eye.

Personally I was excited for the new season and an improved Hugwatch taking Hugwatching into the new season and decade to an a whole new level.

However as you say, its only right and proper to retire Hugwatch.

Perhaps it got lost in the excitement of the weekend, but I don't think I saw the final hugwatch result on Saturday... I'd love to see just one last Hugwatch result
