Player Suggestion Hugo Cuypers

SouthEssexBlade gets a mention on this suggestion, as he mentioned him on here a couple of times a few months ago.

I'm genuinely bewildered as to how nobody has taken a serious look at this lad, he was scoring goals for fun last season with 34 combined (league / europe).

He scores with his Right, his left and his head......have a look at the video! Highly skilled with all....

This season he is immediately starting where he left off... he's banged in 6 goals in the last 10 days alone! He's on fire to say the least!

Surely enters consideration for a PL team? With a tranfermarkt valuation of just £9.5m he's very, very interesting. We desperately need goals if we are to stand any chance of staying in this league!!

I would take Orban any day of the week over Cuypers,

However looks like Orban going to Tottenham so we've got no chance on that one.

Looking at the Belgian league, Joseph Paintsil from Genk isnt bad either. 17 goals as a left sided attacking midfielder. Also scored 11 in 33 games while on loan in Turkish top league in 2020/21, still only 25. Southampton are sniffing around him.

Gent are asking 30 mio for Orban (Spurs interested) and 20 mio for Cuypers (Bologna interested). I would rather go for Mikautadze for 15 mio. He is your Ndiaye replacement. Like for like player.

I remember him scoring against Beerschot. Not bad when you consider he didn't play in a particularly well resourced team.

Roman Yaremchuk at Club Brugge is a proven good CF who can operate wide too. Not worked out for him since moving there from Benfica so may be available on a favourable loan deal. He should be on our radar

I hear (from my sources at the co-op) that Mr Bettis is thinking about thinking about looking this guy up on the internet thing .

Then he will probably think about thinking about putting this guy on the list of potential deals to think about thinking about - before he thinks about springing into action and thinks about making a sandwich
