How will you remember the Robson/Blackwell era?

Robson who?
Blackwell as a reality check on the world we live in. It could have been significantly worse believe me.

When yer accept McWobbleGobs main concern is financial stability yer half way there! i'm certain he's done the sums and fizzy pop league gives him best return with least headaches and less risk.

manure debts £600million an rising is an example......ambition in footballing terms cums a poor last in McWobbleGobs list, he cud have done a lot better than cheap as chips and he cud have spent the £££££'s better.

If cheap as chips stays he'll do more damage than f!!opp0.

Sornob - the impending disaster was inevitably realised.
Blackwell - deeply uninspiring, but so far, despite our misgivings, slightly better than I thought.

Slightly.

How will I remember it?.....

Well I would regard them as two different eras for a start but to be brief;

Robson; Big mistake which cost us an immediate return to the top flight and wasted funds in the process.

Blackwell; The reign of a manager who picked up a side in decline with big expectations and fans who aren't satisfied with aiming respectful criticism at him but using disrespectful abuse instead.

That regretful day against Wigan cost us dear and I blame only one man - no im not thinking of Scudamore or Tevez, im more broad minded than that.

Blackwell creates the "self opinionated" abuse that is hurled at him!

Robson - Unmitigated disaster, awful period for watching the Blades and only made bearable for the comic timing of Unitedites up and down the country at games during that terrible time.

Blackwell - I think it is unfair to say how I will remember the Blackwell era baring in mind we are still in the middle of it. If he was gone tomorrow I'll remember it with fond affection for saving the club and putting a bit of pride back in the team, many wins on the road and some great results at home, if not at times quite dull football.

Robson? Forget it.

Blackwell. Mixed emotions. Seemed to have every emotion possible so far, as with Bassett. Started as a refreshing change from Robson, and saw us playing with a bit of pride again. Got us to the play off final playing some dodgy and some exciting football. Then the Wembley failure cost us more than promotion, it cost us the bulk of the team, a large percentage of the team spirit, and seemingly any ambitions of aiming for the top flight again for the forseeable future.
As for the man himself, for me, when his back is against the wall he comes out with some utter horlicks, more embarrasing than even Warnock. A lack of plan B, and a stubbornness that is beyond belief.
