Yes. It is run by Capita. Too much hassle signing up with them (including sending original documents etc)

Then you say how much you want to pay or how many you want to buy and specifiy your price per share and they will try and find a seller willing to accept.

Can't remember if I found the link on the United website or via google.

My son has a £1 share in some legal entity with Sheffield United in the title, may be the old plc, but I bought it as a birthday present for him many years ago for no particularly good reason. The good news is he keeps getting phone calls from somebody in the US who says the club is being considered by US interests for a hostile takeover, and will he sell them his one share. I think he'll keep it for sentimental reasons, though....
...the sentiment being he can recognise a scam when he sees one.

I also heard from my pal "sun knee high" that Kev is paying Ched £10k per week but £6k of it goes into Kev's bank account as a fee for setting up the deal. Wanker.

As others have said, the shares have been delisted. I checked recently and they're latest value was at 6.5p each?

I wouldn't guarantee I've read that properly though !
