Since KB got the hoofhow much have we Actually forked out on NEW signings?
Is it less than we have actually recieved in transfers leaving the lane?
I cant remember our last cash signing?was it yeates from boro?

Ryan Flynn cost £300k from Falkirk I believe.

I thought Flynn was about half that - around £150k. He was the only cash signing last summer.

Out of the door went Jordan Slew (£1.1m), Darius Henderson (undisc: approx £500k?) and Mark Yeates (undisc: approx £250k) leaving us with a net gain somewhere in the region of £1.7m

Thanks for reminding me about Mark Yeates. I don't think i've ever seen a player at the Lane before or since who i've took such an instant dislike to. He was fucking garbage, and had a attitude to match.

Nice bloke though, I walked back to the train station with him after Norwich away the year we went down, his exact words to me were "it feels like the club has a lot of black crows over it right now" (alongside "Grant Holt, never known such a lump to hit the deck so easily").

Didn't think much of it at the time, but since then we've seen relegation without a whimper, snatching play offs from the jaws of automatic at the hands of the pigs, Ched going down, and losing on penalties after all 22 players took a penalty.

The general consensus as well was that the majority of them wanted Carver to stay on as manager too (he was of course caretaker at the time) and were all gutted that Speed had moved on, I still wonder what may have been had that been the case.
