Ipswich done it quite a bit in the summer. Wrexham bought Broadhead for a lot of money in the summer. Stansted last season in League 1. Sunderland spent big on Jack Clarke. Boro and Norwich also spent quite a bit, I think.

The really annoying thing is that the Championship looks really poor this season. Clubs who came down Leicester, Ipswich, Soton dont look lile they are going to rip it up
No teams like last season with Leeds and Burnley and 92 points will probably comfortably get autos. We have parachute payments. Which gave us a massive advantage and opportunity to recruit decent players but our recruitment was a disaster. If we don't get promoted (and looking highly unlikely) next season no parachute payments so we lose around £45-50 mill income. unless our owners throw big money at it we're going to be stuck in the Champ forever (assuming we manage to avoid relegation this season!
