Horsfield Wants to Stay

By Gary Silke
Date: 9/3/2007

On loan striker Geoff Horsfield wants to make his loan move from Sheffield United to Leicester a permanent one. Arriving at the end of January the 33 year old striker's inclusion in Rob Kelly's line up coincided with an upturn in the side's fortunes.

Horsfield told the Mercury that a permanent deal was originally planned but City pre-Milan Mandaric simply did not have the funds.
Horsfield commented: "Mr Mandaric's arrival has lifted a cloud off everybody. It's given us all confidence and it's means the gaffer knows where he is going, and that is the same for the players.
He says it's a three-year plan to become a Premiership club but, hopefully, we can do it next season."

Yes finally looks like we can offload him.

Fingers crossed we get a decent fee.

yer let him fuck off gt half at least back for him and ill be hapy

The worst sheffield united signing ever, what were you thinking Neil?

Wonder how much they will pay to take him off us.

I thought this thread was about a training problem for Jonny's horses!

:D :D :D
They aren't mine, they're my sister's.

As for Horsfield, he can bugger off, his mardy attitude is what got him into this mess to start with. When he first came, he said "I know I wont get into the team easily, I will have to work hard for it", he then got into the team, played crap on all occasions, got dropped, started compaining he wasn't getting games! Is it me or is he contradicting himself in a way? Not surprising is it?
