We have far too many players that are not high end championship standards.

Tanganga - its no surprise he was a player playing for Millwall who were between 9th-12th every year. He's left and they've had no issues replacing him and now sit 3rd.

Bindon - again, good for your inconsistent teams (like us atm, stoke, qpr etc)

Brooks - another one that would be quality for a mid table team but makes too many silly decisions to be a high end championship player

Soumare - has glimpses of quality but is consistently not a top end Championship performer

Cooper - looks a completely different player this season shrugs

Cannon, McGuiness and Chong also all fit into this category, you could even add Campbell this season, completely different player to last year.

Then you have T Davies (injury prone) and A Davies who will never be a reliable option should our current #1 GK be out or have a bad spell, (like now) most clubs would have dropped Cooper by now but at this point, we dont have a better option no matter how out of form Cooper is.

If we have any aspirations of being a top Championship club then these are some of the players we cant afford to carry..

Your comments on Brooks are absolute rubbish, he’s definitely a top championship player, wouldn’t be surprised if Premier League clubs come calling in the summer.
He is top end player to me too, but I don't think he always has the best decision making.

Sometimes it looks like he's trying to take the whole opposition on alone instead of making a good pass.

It does work out at times to be fair, but sometimes passing is wiser.

Our defence plus ref won it for them, simple as that. They arw nothing at all special and are way off that boro side, we should have won that, very disappointing

We're weak at the back for a team with pretensions of being a lot higher, and that includes the defensive cover from midfield. The goalkeeper isn't the problem.

We're inventive going forward but our players aren't quite sharp enough to make decisions. Tonight - especially in the first half - too many delayed just a bit too long and their attempts got blocked when the sight of goal was clear a second before.

A lot of our invention, though, comes from the full backs so that's contributing to the defensive instability as you can't have it both ways.

What we have to do now to the end of the season is utilise who we know will be here next season and almost have an early preseason, due to the traffic in front of us and the performances of the other teams now we are looking at 9-10 wins out of 12 which is highly unlikely, especially with some of the sides left to play. We have got to look at our CB pairings, is McGuinness good enough or does Mee have another season left in him as there is still the potential that Forest might drop and if they do, I can’t see us getting Bindon on loan again. We also need to look at CM pairings too, do we extend Jairo? (Unless injury hits again my personal answer would be yes) we need a big overall in the strikers too, Ings and Campbell to go. It would be good to get some first team minutes for some of the development squad too. When mathematically nothing to play for why not start Faxton, I can see us having 5-6 dead rubber matches at the end of the season maybe even more at this rate.

not enough quality im afraid especially in final 3rd apart from bamford the money were paying for phillips should have been spent on another striker and winger and boy did we make some bad decisions tonight as well as some stupid passes in dangerous areas good clearout this summer needed and at least 5 good quality championship players needed before august as for wilder i will give him one more.chance next season but im not convinced hes the right man for the job

He’s a confidence player
When he’s not playing well he takes easy option

When he’s on it thinks he’s better than he is

Will balance with experience

Brooks shouldn’t be on the shit list imo, he’s been one of our best players all things considered, particularly in recent games.

Totally disagree on brooks, the lad has been absolutely brilliant. Best player on the pitch again today... We will be lucky to hold onto him in the summer
