A simple question which is complicated by the fact I live in Glasgow and therefore can't get to the ticket office.

Is there supposed to be a way where registered members on the ticketing system (which I am) can buy tickets for children without registering them as members themselves?

I know I could do it last season and have no problem registering my son if I need to but the site is warning against re-registering when I click on register customer and is asking for email addresses, phone numbers, passwords etc when I'm looking to buy for a 9 year old.

I have no problem in putting all my details in against his name but just want to make sure I'm doing it right!

Thanks in advance.

I had the same thing yesterday. I had to register 2 mates kids on my friends and family so I could purchase tickets for Saturday for them.
Straight forward to do if you have their DOB, address and an email you want to link to them, they now have their own customer number.

Seems you have to register everyone who wants a ticket now, not that the club ever said anything, they often just change things like this and waste hours dealing with enquiries from people who didn't know it had changed. How difficult would it have been to post an article on the OS, or note on the ticketing site? Anyway...I would just register them all to your address, it's much easier that way.

Cheers for the replies.

I ended up phoning the ticket office this morning and, yes, I need to create another profile for my son.

I am assured there will be no problem with using my email address etc on more than one account.

I've been down to the ticket office today to buy a ticket for a family member who is from Norwich.
He's never been to a Blades game before (supports Norwich) but apparently the ticket office MUST put details of every purchase on the database.

The ticket office asked for his name, dob and address.
Told them I only knew his name and rough age. Didn't know his address or date of birth.

They were fine about this and registered him at my address and we guessed a date of birth.

Is it Alan partridge?

I read that and thought 'terrible, how can you not know a member of your family's age?' Then I realised I don't know any of my cousin's addresses off by heart or when their birthdays are, or exactly how old they are.
