A year ago today, United were winning 1-0 and playing well at struggling Barnsley. Barnsley grab a last minute equaliser and don't look back from there, going up in the playoffs. Could Charlton be this year's Barnsley?

I think Southend are this years Barnsley and will strike terror into all the other play off teams.

Not really concerning myself with who gets into the play off positions, as i firmly believe that we will be up by March in automatic. For once i think we will be sat watching the PO games with a huge grin on our chops waiting for Sir Christopher of Bramall to announce his first couple of quality signings for the impending championship adventure. Now that would feel good.

We should have easily won on Saturday, Wright and Duffy going off injured made a huge difference, injuries and a bit of luck all play there part in promotion, we're nothing like the team we were last year, even though we conceded in the 93rd minute i came away relatively happy with the performance.

Fans will never slate players who are giving 100% and i think that's the big difference this season.

No disrespect to the OP but I really don't give a shit about other sides so far below us. I'm only interested in our team, scoring goals and winning matches. The rest usually takes care of itself

They could well improve quite a bit under Robinson, and when we play them at home at the end of March it could be a very hard game. That's another reason why I'm pissed off we've wasted a great chance to beat them. It wouldn't have been as hard to take had we already beaten them at home.
