Isn't their 1st goal a deflection?
Surely it’s got to be….otherwise why would the keeper dive in the opposite direction away from the ball.

Agree….Basham is made to look like a fool on their 2nd, he’ll be embarrassed.

Their 3rd…it’s harder than it looks but don’t their teach keepers to palm it out for a corner?
Made a decent save but it ricochets straight back to their player.

We’re doing okay for xG stats. Our strikers are shite, that simple.

And we play too open a system to defend with such an average defence.

Stephens was 2 yds behind his man and the Egan completely lost his man when the ball was played inside him

A chuffing worldy by this league's standard. A mid air volley, smashed under the crossbar, from a young lad who can't score for toffee at the moment.
To be fair, Billy, Mousse and MGW should all have scored too with their chances.

Then at the other end we simply fall apart.

Interesting comparisons between him and Brewster when I think back - signed for a big fee (in Championship terms at the time) and didn’t score for ages. However, then he got his Chilean call up, changed his name and has never looked back since.

Just need Brewster to get his call up to the Brazilian squad, change his name to just Rhian (or Brewsterinho) and we are away.

Listened to the game on Radio Sheffield, it sounded like there where only 2 players on the pitch, 90 minutes of, Khadra and Brereton- Diaz. By the way Carl Asaba was brilliant,absolutely fuming at the players and manager.

Yeah maybe if he could have palmed the shot out for the corner, but when you get a shot slammed at you from fairly close range and it looks like it's "megging you", priority is to keep it out. Blackburn were fortunate that it rebounded straight back to them, but we don't score that goal. He showed composure and finished well, if it was Moose he'd have slammed it back against the bar.

It was yes, significantly altered the path of the ball.

Watching the game yesterday nearly all of Blackburn's passes went to a blackburn player as did a lot of ours
perhaps Slav should instill into our lot that to score goals you've got to get in the oppositions half
Really uninspiring
