Does Kyle Walkers have the same though?

Sorry to put a damper on this but the football season ends last day of June. Therefore it is possible that with his sale being in July it could mean that Naughton will have still been registered with The Blades for the 09/10 season even if only for a few days before the transfer, hence no appearances

..........................he's coming, Naughton's coming home!

Well he is if you take a look at his Spurs player profile. ;)

Spurs poster says his profile has just been updated and guess which line has been added for the 2009/2010 season?

A few of the papers have mentioned him coming back over the last few weeks.

I know I was given a wink that he'd be back, but its been a bit quiet over the last couple of weeks and the original info was that he was swapping places with Walker.... who is now staying to the end of the season.

Very very strong rumours doing the rounds that he is due back till the end of the season.

I personally don't know where he will fit in, although he was alrite at left back in the latter stages of last season, he really wasnt as effective as he was at right back. Mind he'd be better than Taylor i suppose.

I will say i'd love to see Geary and Quinn together again on the left, they were great there in the prem.

From what I've heard we certainly want to get him back but Tottenham preference would be for him to go to a Premier League team. They've been hawking him round the usual suspects (Hull, Stoke etc) but haven't had any serious interest. If they don't get anything more than a sniff from them he could be here before the Bolton match.

To comment on Sunderlands post I would much prefer to see either Naughton at left back or if Naysmith is fit then Ward moved to the left with Walker/Naughton on the right hand side of the team.
