Hold on I didn't realise I played for United or managed them ? You bell end..... How can I be the reason ... Clearly you have no idea, you little boy, go back to pretending to be 'ITK' and today there was NO stand out player. All equally as poor... Idiot
What the fuck are you on about you stamp collector?

You are the reason United are still in this division.
Scougall did quite well in midweek against league 2 opposition. Let's give him a 4 year deal.

If Clarke wasn't the best player who was? Joker

You are the reason we are happy with being mid table league one dross with that attitude.

You cannot in any way say you are happy with the game today. Or the start we have made to the season.....

Who talks about giving him 4 year deals based on a mid week game against Crewe?
If you cannot come up with something sensible, stop posting.

Clarke wasn't our best player. There was no one that stood out and if you think so, you were watching the wrong game.

Chris................ Come on pal, give us a break, jokes over, the sheer uselessness of this team is obviously an act isn't it??

Goalkeeper - priority
ACM - priority
CB - priority

Time to knock on that door again, don't take "No" for an answer, and set your sights on good players to get us out of this shit mess. Please!

You
What the fuck are you on about you stamp collector?
know full well what I am on about look st your previous reply ? I'll have what ever your on, clearly gone to your head, and must have not gone to the game and listen to it on the radio

Sarcasm bypass by any chance?

No matter how shite we we're, I thought dale looked like a composed together unit and will probably do well this season.

Are you drunk?

fucking joking aren't ya? What did Andrew do that Clarke didn't?
If he'd never played for Wednesday I bet you a thousand quid you wouldn't be saying that. Embarrassing mentality.

Whoever gives 100% for my club I'll support.
EXACTLY what is it that I'm missing Dan ?

In 3 games, he has a goal and 0 assists.

Do you regard that as good ?

Are there other positive impacts he is having ?

He is a bang average L1 striker that we are now stuck with for 3 fuckin years.

And I have more chance of seeing the Queens tits than I have of seeing Clarke n Sharp forming an effective partnership.

Give it 10 games, come back to me, and tell me I was wrong

UTB

How many goals does Calvin Andrew have since he's so much better?
And Sharp also has 1 goal and 0 assists but you won't say a bad word about him. At least Clarke has been effective, won his headers and held the ball up. Also made use of the ball when he's had it.

Based on your posts on this thread lad.....you must be.

Come back tomorrow when you're sober
I've not had a drop pal. If you think I'm serious about giving Scougall a 4 year deal you're on something a lot stronger than alcohol.

Are you drunk?
Clearly not since I'm not the only one on your post, what as issues with what you have posted, I think you need to leave your keyboard for today pal.... you clearly don't have a clue, so next time if you are posting at least go to the games you are commenting on ..... (Which you clearly arnt doing,
Judging on your view)

I can't understand a word you're on about. So what have I said that's meant to have been so wrong? If Scougall played 90 minutes for us all season we would get relegated.

I've been to every game this season you fucking wally. I apologise for not having any bias towards ex wendies and speaking the truth about our shit players.

So what? Same old. Scougall doing nothing, Done not a winger, Brayford and Basham living off good performances a couple of seasons ago and Long not good enough.

Are the criticisms not warranted? That's 120 quid last week in total, and the season ticket and beer tokens for the past 2 games and I feel I'm entitled to have an opinion.

Nobody forces you to pay money. No problem with criticism if it's constructive, however what are you gaining by calling everyone shite?

We've been in this division for 5+ years with many different managers, players, board members and the like. Christ we've even changed the pitch and kit colour. However, the constant is that we've been poor. So using the expenses paid as some sort of support for your argument is daft.

We're all entitled to an opinion, not disputing that in the slightest, but have a look at things. 2 league games and a cup game And we conceded a daft goal to an individual error. Others didn't play well either. What? Do you want your money back because we should be top of the league after you spent £120 this week?

If I was to be refunded all the money I've spent on being let down by United I could probably buy a used cruise liner. So I'd appreciate it.

Well, you've been serious about everything else lad so why wouldn't I take that as yet another deluded point you're trying to make?

At least try and differentiate in future between when you're trying to be sarcastic and you're trying to make another stupid point.

He did no worse than anyone else but as always that's all he does. He doesn't have any qualities.

He did no worse than anyone else and was a damn sight better than Done, Duffy, Fleck and Basham today. As has been stated, he looked decent when he came on the other night.

For someone to pick him out for criticism today, I'd have to question their judgement.

Know what you mean Swiss, but...

I didn't go to Bolton so today is the first time I've seen the 'new, improved United' and all I can say is, it's going to be a long, hard winter.

Rochdale will not be one of the stand-out teams in our division but they were far superior to United today. Quicker in thought and deed, more organised, more determined. Our team is too small for this division, the 'tactics' are non-existent and - yet again (and this has been going on for a few seasons) - for a home team, we do not 'work' the opposition goalie nearly enough.

We got out of jail today, a second 'dale goal and there would have been no coming back. Seven or eight new players in, and nothing's changed.

I don't want to pick players out for criticism, but I wish our big, black No. 9 (Clarke) looked half the threat of theirs (Calvin Andrew).

And if todays pattern continues, I can well see Sharp looking for a move as, the way it looked today, he's got absolutely no support or service.

I've no problem with that summary, i can't argue with it as i wasn't there. However, like i said, 2 games.

Yes its 2 games for Rochdale and agreed, theyre not going to be the top team in the division (based upon previous seasons), but we need to allow our side the chance to gel.

Make no mistake, a nervy side like ours, having lost two games, won't have been helped conceding a daft goal like that, but we really need to put it into perspective.

If I was to be refunded all the money I've spent on being let down by United I could probably buy a used cruise liner. So I'd appreciate it.

Yet another demonstration of a pointless post.

Our season tickets over the years where we have suffered disappointed would only amount to a small yacht.

In all seriousness. If you want glory - disappear and support PSG (as there is no other competition in the French league) or maybe pick one of the two Spanish giants where you will only get a bit of disappointment thrown in (for the good old days) when they only win someone 4-0 rather than 6-0.

This is Sheffield United - be prepared for the downs that come with the rare ups.

Didn't you say in the reply to me about spending beer tokens on top of your £120 spend?

I excused your reply and initial post as i assumed you were pissed. However, on reflection and based on your admission that you've not had a drink, then i perhaps shouldn't have given you so much credit.

So many new players will take time for a team to gel.

We said that we didn't see many players communicating or encouraging each other, something which will no doubt improve.

Errrrm, what? So you'd give Scougall a 4 year deal? I'm lost.

I think the issues have been evident for a lot more than 2 league games.

Well we've only played two league games so you're either posting from the future or you're referring to the last season(s) under different manager(s) and forgetting that but for a few players, we've overhauled the squad and team this summer and many of the players only met in June/July/August.

So whilst there are question marks over many players, perhaps give them a few games or be specific about what was wrong with their performances in the team today/ last week which justifies a sweeping statement that they're all shit

What did he do with the ball? I genuinely cannot recall him having ANY positive impact. He certainly isn't a winger and doesn't have any impact playing centrally either.
