What a fantastic day, I sat in my hotel room in the States and watched with glee as the "Blunts" sliced through Wednesday. I then sat in a bar full of American Football and Baseball fans in a Blades shirt and ended up drinking shots with them to celebrate the pig roast!

I thoroughly enjoyed the view from and the subsequent fall out from porktalk and it amazes me the lack of dignity a set of fans can show in defeat. Still no recognition for the quality displayed.

I also find the whole atmosphere thing interesting. The atmosphere at Hillsborough feels very contrived. That bloody band and as has been pointed out 2 lines sung over a tune as opposed to a full and original anthem. Then bugger all else until they scored and then they have their contrived fookin bouncing.

Contrast and compare the Blades who sing about Chris Wilder, Sing about Alan Knill, Coutts, O'Connell and Fleck. The biggest difference between the sides (and the deluded arrogant pillocks have not worked this out) is we have Heroes. Everyone on that pitch and on the sidelines wants to play for our club and is absolutely united in a desire to do their best. That is why we generate a magnificent atmosphere and have a range of songs to belt out.

Wednesday if they truly examine themselves don't have heroes. They have expensive highly paid (journeymen), but nobody who has been truly taken to the heart. Forestifairy, would have come close but he is a selfish mardy twat who doesn't want to play for them anymore. 10 million spunked on Rhodes who bottled taking a penalty in the biggest game of their season. I could go on and on.

2 years ago, I couldn't honestly say I had a Blades hero, today we have a team full of them.

Chris Wilder and Alan Knill I thank and salute you for giving me my football team back and delivering one of the most memorable footballing days of my life. Heroes one and all.
