Following on from the various badge/crest discussions we have had on here, that Hearts badge is pretty good. Are there any other decent Scots ones, you get pretty familiar with all the English clubs over the years but, for me anyway those from North of the border are a bit of an unknown.

None spring to mind. The only ones I can think of are all a bit crest-y and I don't like those (see the other thread).

I don't mind the Hearts one though - it depicts the Heart of Midlothian itself, so at least it's got something unique and interesting. If you've never been to Edinburgh, take care walking up the Royal Mile, lest you end up covered in gob...

No connection with the place at all MtG. They were my favourite Scottish team growing up in the 70's but never wanted to go and see them or anything. Then last season went to Easter Road with a stag do and had a ball and since then have started to make the trip up with a couple of other Blades. Given one of them is moving up there shortly and has a spare room I'll maybe end up seeing a lot more of them this time around.

Your real go to guy on the Hibees on here though is Alien Woodward.

Ooops!! Thats Motherwell Girls badge, it should say girls either side of the crest, this is the one i should have have posted,

They were stitched over the Hibs badge (to start with, for definite), despite the colour of the coats being maroon and black. The coat which I've worn almost continuously for the last ten years plus is one of the very few ones which has the United badge sewn in and the "Wards" logo underneath.

I seem to recall that just before these coats, there were some Sunderland rejects which turned up. At the time we were using AVEC as the kit and stuff manufacturer.
