Long time reader of various Blades forums, new to posting.
30 year Blades fan, mainly ST holder with odd times off for family / work stuff.
Absolutely terrible memory for footy, sometimes find it hard to remember who we played last week, but brief intro to me about stuff that comes up regularly...
BIO: grew up in a mining village outside Donny, not a footy fan as a kid! (I blame single mums) but became interested when I joined a group of 'lads' I knew going to Blades. Soon parted from them and became hooked watching Edwards near the end of his Blades career.
FAVES: Best memories Glyn Hodges, Vas Borbokis and Jags (all over the pitch) over the years.
WORST: Wembley(s). All of them.
FAN TYPE: Veer towards 'clapper' but prefer term 'pragmatist who gets behind team on the pitch'. Opinionated but no claims to expertise or ITKness.
POLITICS: Politically correct loony left, on the political map posted a while ago I was as far in the left libertarian box as it was possible to get. Blame Thatcher and / or Hitler for most things
MUSIC: Enjoy gigs but slowing down with that now. The Smiths fave band by a mile. The Fall, Radiohead, Weller over his career kind of stuff.
FILM: Complete film buff, too many to mention. My passion alongside the Blades.
